Children will grab anything that they can get their hands on. Keep hot objects away from counter edges and out of the reach of children.

Have a conversation with your child about never grabbing hair appliances that may still be hot after use, even after it has been unplugged. Aside from the bathroom, it is important to clean lint traps in your dryers, have your chimney cleaned and serviced annually, and never have appliances running when you are not home.
