Firefighters Kids Camp is a program held annually to benefit young burn survivors ages six (and have completed the 1st grade) to seventeen.
Our mission is to provide young burn survivors with a fun and safe camp environment that encourages healing, personal growth and character development. This year’s program will be virtual through the Zoom video platform.
The program is supported by a well-trained and enthusiastic volunteer staff of firefighters, burn care professionals, adult burn survivors, nurses, mental health specialists and trained recreational leaders.

The Firefighters Burn Institute would like to recognize The Taylor Family Foundation for hosting Firefighters Kids Camp at The Taylor Family Foundation at Camp Arroyo. The Taylor Family Foundation’s mission is to preserve the wellness and enhance the quality of life for children in Northern California with life-threatening and chronic illnesses, disabilities and youth at-risk through unique therapeutic experiences and support.
