Firefighters Kids Camp

July 2 - 7, 2024 Camp Arroyo in Livermore, CA Applications due May 31, 2024Firefighters Kids Camp is a program held annually to benefit young burn survivors ages six (and have completed the 1st grade) to seventeen.
“Fill the Boots for Burns” Boot Drive Fundraiser
Each year dozens of fire agencies throughout Northern and Central California help make a positive difference in the lives of burn survivors by hosting a Boot Drive in their community. Thousands of firefighters volunteer every year to collect money in their boots during the annual Firefighters “Fill the Boot for Burns” Boot Drive fundraisers for the Firefighters Burn Institute.
FFBI hosts its Firefighters “Fill the Boot for Burns” Boot Drive annually in conjunction with National Burn Awareness Week in Citrus Heights at the corner of Sunrise and Greenback at the Sunrise Mall in the Sunrise MarketPlace.
This year the dates for the Sunrise Mall Boot Drive in the Sunrise MarketPlace are February 7-10, 2019.
Donations are used to improve burn treatment and to fund life-altering burn recovery programs, including Firefighters Kids Camp for young burn survivors and the Little Heroes Preschool Burn Camp.
Mardi Gras Crab Feed & Cajun Boil

SAVE THE DATE for the annual Mardi Gras Crab Feed hosted by the Firefighters Burn Institute in partnership with the Sacramento Fire Reserves Association! We’re bringing Mardi Gras to you with festive decorations, all you can eat Cajun boil and crab dinner, live DJ and dancing. See you there!
- Early Bird Tickets are available NOW. Make sure to take advantage of our EARLY BIRD SPECIAL and get your event tickets for only $55/ person (more details to come)
- Everything will be included in single ticket price with exception to our no host bar.
Things To Know:
- All sales will be FINAL
- Outside containers and alcohol will not be permitted to the event
- If you would like to sit with a certain group or if you have any specific requests, please email lisa@ffburn.org. Seating arrangements will be first come first serve basis and will also be prioritizing ADA/ event sponsor requests.
- Because tickets are sold per seat, there will unfortunately be no difference in pricing for children.

Adult Burn Survivor Recovery Retreat
“Beyond Surviving”
The Firefighters Burn Institute offers adults who have been affected by the emotional and physical pain of a serious burn injury a unique opportunity to meet others who have gone through similar experiences and build a network of support.
Thanks to generous donations, the Firefighters Burn Institute is able to offer this retreat free of charge to burn survivors and their partner or caregiver (a refundable deposit is required).
The retreat location for 2024 is South Lake Tahoe, CA. Limited transportation scholarships are available upon request.
